The RPHD Overdrive Classic features an absolutely full range clean preamp with bright, mid, and rock/jazz switches, and the smooth woody overdrive section that made this style of amplifier famous. 100 watts of 6L6 power makes the RPHD Overdrive Classic the star of any show. In 2016, we added new features and improved perfection! This new version of the RPHD now includes a voicing switch for matching the amplifier to your guitar type and we’ve made the FET input available from the footswitch with an adjustable gain level. It’s like having a clean boost without the hassle of another pedal. The RPHD Overdrive Classic comes complete with a 4-button footswitch (MidBoost, Overdrive, Boost and FET). The RPHD Overdrive Classic can also be built as a 50-watt amp with reverb, if that fits your needs.

The RPHD50R which features the same specs as the original except it is only 50 watts and has reverb. This results in a more controllable and convenient gigging amp for some players. Amp above in custom Caroline Blue tolex.

What happens after you place your deposit?
Once we receive your deposit, submitted using the PayPal buttons on this page, we will contact you to discuss the details for your hand-crafted amp. Each amp features custom cabinetry, made-to-order transformers, and is hand-built for you.
Deposits can be refunded, less applicable PayPal fees, within the first 30 days of the initial deposit. After 30 days, deposits are non-refundable. Contact us with questions.
Refunds
We are confident that you will love your new, hand-crafted RedPlate Amp, but if within 7 days of receipt you are not satisfied, you may return your RedPlate for exchange or partial refund less a 20% restocking fee. Contact us for RMA approval.
