AMPLIFIER LINEUP
RedPlate Amps are unique and can be a challenge to understand when you start to review the lineup.
There really is a RedPlate for every style of player. Before you make an investment in a lifetime quality amp, we encourage you to read about the models, devote the time to listen to the many videos throughout the site, and read testimonials from other players.
Feel free to email us at any time with questions.
The TweedyVerb+ is the original RedPlate Amp – 40 watts from two 6L6 tubes, a single clean channel and a two tube reverb in an easily portable sized package.
The BlackLoop is the ultimate grab-and-go amplifier with an overdrive section which makes it one of the best small, cover-it-all, gigging amps on the planet. 40 watts from two 6L6 tubes.
The TweedyDrive builds upon the TweedyVerb+ with an added overdrive section, a tube buffered effects loop minus the reverb.
The BlackVerb builds upon the BlackLoop with the addition of reverb and 50 watts of power in a larger chassis.
The BluesMachine expands on the TweedyDrive platform with a two-tube reverb and a larger chassis with 50 watts of power from two 6L6 tubes.
The BlackLine has a clean channel inspired by the American circuits of the mid ‘60s and the lead channel is possibly our smoothest, creamiest lead tone to date.
The AstroDust takes the BluesMachine to the next level in our largest chassis with the addition of a 2nd drive channel that is an HRM style circuit.
The Magica features a ’60s inspired, American clean channel, a British inspired lead channel with two different levels of gain, an effects loop, and a 50 watt, dual EL-34 output section.
The RPHD Overdrive Classic is our tribute to the famous recording/performance amps of the ‘80’s and ‘90’s. The RPHD Overdrive Classic is our recreation of arguably the best boutique amp of that era, with a few Redplate touches.
